    The Lost World: Jurassic Park

    ★★★

Like the first Jurassic Park, The Lost World demonstrates Spielberg’s ability to build tension. There are some fantastic sequences in regards to action in particular the scene in the RV over the cliff and the raptors in the fields.

Other than that, this movie just doesn’t capture the same magic of Jurassic Park. There are just so many characters with different motivations that don’t quite come together for me. Ian Malcom is trying to save Julianne Moore’s character, Julianne Moore is…

This film manages to stay engaging entirely through dialogue. There are so many fantastic lines in this movie that are chills inducing. I could…

Since I’ve never loved the original Top Gun I wasn’t as exited for this movie as some people. I ended up loving this way more than I thought I would. The aerial fights are fantastic and exiting, the score is nostalgic and powerful, and the characters are compelling.

I loved the dynamic between Maverick and Rooster as Rooster resents Maverick for what happened to his father and Maverick doesn’t want to be responsible for another death. They both learn to…
