    Truth or Dare

    Next Gen

the next netflix original combines some ideas from big hero 6, astro boy, robocop and even terminator. it's about a friendship between a lonely girl and a top secret robot and puts the meaning of friendship against the wall of robotica which is more and more controlling our life and emotions. but the movie lacks real emotion and remains a splintered copie of the named movies. good use of colors and voices, especially david cross of course. the target group, teenage audience, will probably be entertained by the animation so that puts a layer above the unoriginal story.

    The Meg

i actually expected this to be more gore and fun but the 75 feet big meg doesn’t get the blood factor a movie shark deserves. it’s like director jon turtletaub wanted this to be a family movie. no horror bites, no seas of blood and the joker would say why so serious. it had huge potential, also because of jokeful jason statham, cool cliff curtis and lovely li bingbing, but the shark teeth are not that sharp.

For wherever the sun rises and sets, in the city's turmoil or under the open sky on the farm, life is much the same; sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet.
