The greatest martial arts film of the classic era. The story and acting are solid (with a great performance from Lam Chin Ying) the comedy is actually pretty funny, and Sammo Hung's direction is mobile while serving the fights well. The fights are spectacular; fast, but never frenetic, duels of close quarters wing chun techniques. A masterpiece of its genre.
