Really enjoyed that raimi cinematography and the kickass Elfman music, but the story fell very flat for me. I didn't really care about the characters at all. There wasn't any real stakes, aside from his own and Jules' life.
Rather tame revenge flick. The composite shots all seemed like they could've been replaced by a matte painting or something.
I appreciate the groundwork it laid for the Spider-man movies. If you like this you'll love those. Or vice versa. If you love those you'll just like this.
