If nothing else, this was a fascinating historical document of 1950's 'red scare' paranoia. It is no surprise that is was made with US Civil Defense (a predecessor of Homeland Security) assistance.
The film itself is pure hokum. Residents of a New York cocktail bar expound about Govt interference, high taxes, etc. But also of the need to be strong in the face of communism to a local news broadcaster, while a quiet somewhat sinister presence in the room points…
