    A while back I watched the original Suspiria and was bored by it. Visually it was stunning, but plot-wise it was uninteresting, incoherent, and barely suspenseful. Just finished Black Christmas and it was great. Classic 70s paranoia-horror with a twist ending. 

    Margot Kidder was great... and it's funny how she can't spell anything as the famous writer, Lois Lane, but can easily spell out the word "fellatio" for a clueless police officer. 
    If you're looking for some holiday horror, Black Christmas might just be the gift you've been asking for!

    This film gave me hope and broke my heart. I taught 7th and 8th graders for many years and still work in a middle school (even though I don't have my own class of students anymore).     I really enjoyed The Last Jedi. I've read so many negative reviews by viewers in the last few days, but I disagree with all of them hands down. No movie is without its flaws, but this is not the "ruining" of Star Wars that some have proclaimed.
