“Somebody in this camp ain't what he appears to be. Right now that may be one or two of us. By spring, it could be all of us.”
A master class in practical effects, tension building and horror. Carpenter at his best!
“The man who says nothing always seems more intelligent. Why couldn't I just keep silent?”
Completely not afraid to be sincere, emotional and real, in everything from theme to presentation.
I'll admit I didn't "get it" on the first view, at least not fully. I was worried that I'd regret putting in the time to re-watch this but I really enjoyed the film. This film also looks absolutely beautiful, rest in peace Robby Müller.
Honestly, I commend any big-budget superhero movie that features not one but two jazz dance sequences. La La Land ain't got shit on this.
