Raster Image’s review published on Letterboxd:
so finally, after the longest wait ever, Parasite finally lands on these shores, trailing garlands behind it. it was worth the wait, it's very good. the satire is funny and sharp, the intricate plot is unpredictable, the tenser moments are tense and funny at the same time, with a bit slapstick to help them along. the rich house and the poor house are beautifully realised, and it's all shot with incredible confidence and style. it's great how you root for the poor family even as they act indefensibly. it may, almost inevitably, be a victim of high expectations - I don't love it. but i almost do.
it was cool watching it when there were storms and floodings going on outside.
