The Princess and the Frog 2009
yeah i.. already rewatched this.. after rewatching it.. yesterday..
this movie has its flaws (how the first black princess is a frog through the majority of the film, how it demonizes voodoo), but man. it’s just a huge comfort movie. -

i like this movie, but mainly if i choose to ignore all of its racist stereotypes and orientalism.. which i would have hoped more people would be talking about. ignoring that aspect would also leave a bad taste in my mouth. it’s not like its racism is small, since essentially everything about it is dripping in it.
