Really loved this. Plot not as nonsensical as people make it out to be. I really enjoyed the fantastical dialogue and whole....dark urban fantasy/horror vibe of it. The idea of the 3 mothers is a cool one (I could see a book series or TV show exploring it in an interesting way...each controlling a different city and affecting the whole world).
Argento's camerawork is more restrained but the setpieces and colors are still nutty (and it's really fun knowing Bava was collaborating with him here).
I was the 3rd one had been made around this time when he was still at his peak as I hear it is quite bad.
