This is one of those movies that for most of the run time, my mind starts to drift and starts thinking what it would look like if some other director had made it. A meditative (to put it mildly) and timely (sadly so) take on the rape/revenge genre. The protagonist, Marlina, has to deal with a bunch of creepy dudes harassing her for no reason. Warm Nights on a Slow Moving Train 1987
Warm Nights was a nice little discovery. This was a film I nominated along with other Australian films to be voted on by "The Collab". I had started with a list of about 30 films and whittled it down to the final five. I tried to pick ones that were underseen, a little weird, and hopefully that didn't suck.
