happy (belated) bday paul dano! he captures the spirit of a wet blanket so perfectly in this— and i admire him for it!!

paul dano i love you. i thought this had a great story (ending aside) though there was an uncomfortable amount of dead air— like the camera would be on joby just standing there doing nothing for more than it should have… maybe i’m just being picky. i liked this, really.

ahhhh wow. very unsettling... to say the least. it’s amazing how lynch can allow a character like frank to be so shocking but still a realistic kind of evil. though, i cant get over the fact that kyle maclachlan picked up a decaying, bug-ridden EAR with his bare hands, then proceeded to place it in a conveniently located paper bag... now, that got to me.

would’ve given it a 5/5 but the amount of dirty feet is unsettling
