Call Me By Your Name will forever mean so much to me. It’s almost as if this story is biographical to my life. The chemistry, the love, the heartbreak felt all too real, too similar to what I had experienced in the past. The day they started showing this in my area back in December, I asked my best friend to watch it with me to understand what I had been going through. 2017 was the roughest year of my life, and reading the book only made me even more depressed than ever, but watching this for the first time... it felt like a fresh air. Closure. There isn’t a film that relates to me more than this one.
