This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This movie tries to be a modern 1984, to which everyone can relate to.
Sadly, despite the many realistic parallels to reality, *The Circle* is set in a world, with absolutely no one seems to have heard about surveillance regimes or human rights.
On top of that, the movie doesn't get, that it isn't recognisable surveillance that is dangerous, but invisible, unfeelable collection of metadata.
Oh, and the story is crap and leaves many threads unfinished.
