Talk about shooting yourself in the foot…
I knew this was going to be bad. After The Man From Toronto and seeing the godawful trailer for this, I STILL watched it. Zero chemistry between supposed “lifelong friends”. Implausible scenarios. If this wasn’t subscription-based, I would’ve asked for my money back…Now, I’m questioning if I scored too high for this. Ugh.

  • Elvis

    Elvis

    ★★½

Baz Luhrmann is a divisive filmmaker. Personally, I’m not his biggest fan but when there’s considerable buzz for his latest, you can’t help but take notice. Mainly the “buzz” following Elvis is the choices made by Tom Hanks as Colonel Parker. Thankfully, his role wasn’t as prominent as the promotional material let on.

The movie is nothing more than a “highlight reel” of Elvis’ life and partnership with Col. Parker. It’s go-go-go from the jump, not really stopping to catch…

Does Marvel have the rights to the term? Nevermind. It doesn’t matter. This stands alone. This is original. This is my review of Everything Everywhere All At Once.

I look forward to a singular vision. In a world of sequels, requels (I hate myself for using that)…

  • The Adam Project

    The Adam Project

    ★★★

A nice throwback to the type of movies Disney would make in the 80/90’s. I immediately thought of Race to Witch Mountain. The remake with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It also had the feel of E.T. And Flight of the Navigator.

The Adam Project had potential to be great but with too many unanswered questions and a nagging implausibility with some of the science…I know, I know, but you’re talking time travel! Yes, true. What I mean is, the science…
