  • Ad Astra

    Ad Astra

    ★★★

The best thing about Ad Astra is all the puns that came after it: Sad Astra, Bad Astra, Badasstra, Dad Astra, Brad Astra, Mad Max Astra, rAD mASTRApiece, Astracalypse Now, Eh Astra, Rad Astra, Lad Astra, I’m Glad Astra I saw this, in space no one can hear you cry like a baby, etc.
The best thing about these puns is that they pretty much sum up what’s good and bad in the movie.

  • Imbued Life

    Imbued Life

    ★★★★

The best thing about taxidermy is you can later make a stop-motion animated short film about taxidermy.
Mysterious, nightmarish and incredibly beautiful, Imbued Life is about the idea not only of preserving life after death but also memories.

  • School's Out

    School's Out

    ★★★½

To Sir, with Love, this ain't.

Even though School's Out shows Greta Thunberg's stand-in as a sectarian, manipulative, almost-psychotic student, the movie ends up agreeing with her and her followers stating, in the most nihilistic way, that if governments are more worried about money, and schools are more worried about grades, then the only solution for the next generations is [spoilers ahead] a suicide pact.

Laurent Lafitte is so hot in this movie he should take part of the blame for climate change.
