It's bad man. Idk what it is about this movie, but it feels almost entirely made from cardboard. It has the kind of awkwardness you get in high school drama productions but they did it on a 200 mil budget with a bunch of A list actors. The cast are all fine, but everything else is dragging them down.

+1 star for Chris Evans saying completely straight faced "Let's see if these moves fuck."

Cute and functional, but not really all that interesting. In the moment, the cinematography and the music can combine to give the impresion that something interesting is happening, but beyond that Elgort is outmatched and overwhelmed by his co-stars.

If Nolan was less interested in making things needlessly convoluted this probably could have been a really good film, but as it stands it's a very competent action movie that thinks it's deeper than it is.
