It's better than the sequels at least. Some of the new characters truly stand out -- Yahya Abdul-Mateen II's Morpheus, Jessica Henwick's Bugs, and Neil Patrick Harris' The Analyst -- others (both flesh and machine) don't get much to do, and a pair who make their return (one original cast member, another a new casting) could have been left out, even though the latter has more to do with the plot than the former.

Better than I expected. I didn't really buy into Renner and Steinfeld's chemistry as mentor and pupil to the point where I thought she was miscast. That all changed when Pugh's Yelena arrived -- basically stealing every scene she's in -- delivering all the chemistry Steinfeld and Renner lack in just two scenes. HORRRRRRRIDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!

Poor direction, poor cinematography, poor lightning, poor pacing, poor acting, poor dialogue, poor framing, poor everything! It's not like I had high hopes for this fucking clickbait masquerading as cinema here, but my word what the fuck happened here?

Not sure if I liked it. Wonderful sound design, Lawrence (who may have a small bit loud anti-following on Twitter) is fantastic and Bardems face is as complex and simple and moving as a great poem. It goes OUT THERE!!!!!!!!!! Which I think where the film lost me. I thought my goal in life would be to lead people away from the movie but now thinking about it I feel like I should tell everyone to see it to hear their own interpretations and reactions.
