I think it's apparent that whether I like this film might really depend on whether I can enjoy "Dune" as a book. The least I can say is that it was an emotive experience for me, and that I can glean what Frank Herbert was trying to say in his examinations of Paul and the other characters. And these people truly are different, in every single way these are unrecognisable people from the first movie(if they even survived).
