Despite a couple of points where it may have stumbled, but overall it is a well-made film that only enhances the clout Marvel holds within the cinematic world.

Being from the 1930s you can expect some dated terminology and some less than stellar representation of various parties. Still, the dialog is quick, sharp, and funny. A simplistic, but very enjoyable film inspired by a play of the same name.

The primary cast in this film is sensational. While some of the source material is altered or flat-out deleted, a lot of this film works. It clearly connects to real-world subjects. Considering how badly other comic book films were at this time, this film remains strong thanks to the exceptional talent within the movie.

The only person having any fun in this absurd movie is Arnold Schwarzenegger. Whatever enjoyment that is squeezed from this lemon comes from his one-liners and overacting.
