  I take my music history *very* seriously. And I’m an intense student when it comes to Chopin’s and Liszt’s lives and music. There’s so much wrong with the “accuracy” of this piece, but it was all worth it. I laughed *a lot.* Liszt smokes a hookah, Chopin faints in a gun fight, and Marie d’Agoult gets the snubbing she always deserved (Bernadette Peters is DREADFUL and I loved it).
