  As real as movies can get.

  Other films with a similar premise often shoot for the stars with wildly eventful climaxes or standout moments, but Yang settles for the opposite. He shows us how major life events sort of just happen. No fluff, no extra umph, shit happens and we have to react to them appropriately and keep moving forward.
