The first time I heard of Daft Punk was when I saw their music video for Around the World on TV. I had no idea what was going on and the song sounded so odd, yet hypnotising in a certain way. It left me intrigued, but it didn’t click with me right away since my 7-year-old brain didn’t know what good music was yet. 2022 was such a great year for animation, with Puss in Boots as the cherry on top.

A classic. I have no idea when I last watched this, but I must've watched it a hundred times when I was 12. This was one of the go-to movies when hanging out at a classmate's house. Good times.

A bit too long and overly dramatic, but very sweet and touching at the same time. Gorgeous visuals and a fantastic soundtrack are definitely the standout features of Drifting Home, though.
