Gareth... My man, my man. Love this guy since Monsters since he's the only one in Hollywood that has a visual eye (complete opposite of Nolan eg). Incredible cinematography in all his films. Unfortunately I don't *love* any of his movies. Can't really put a finger on it but somehow always something is missing and they seem too convoluted and just too much is going on...
Incredible beyond breathtaking cinematography... And everything looked and felt "real" and grounded. Rare filmmakers…

Not sure if this is considered a (mini) series but if it is, hot damn. Then it's easily the best, or actually the actual first mature action series that, well, looks like a movie.
And if it's considered a movie, it's still pretty great, and so much better than all Wick movies combined. The main lead isn't that cool/interesting but then again, neither is Keanu. You can only imagine if Last of Us or some others were on this production level...

You either can rate this ironically (which seems to be the current hype) or as the greatest crap you've ever seen. Skipped forward for the most part to be honest though.

Watched for the fifth time now. Exactly like the first viewing, this true and rare gem destroys me after the first 5 seconds. The actual only film where I have tears in my eyes pretty much from start to finish.

Incredible, breathtaking score by Max Richter, depressing as hell story and atmosphere - at the same time optimistic and positive. Perfect metaphor for our modern life. Even without the epidemic we already hate, don't taste, hear, listen or see.

A true once-in-a-lifetime masterpiece that makes you deeply sad and truly happy at the same time. Drama, horror, love and apocalypse.
