  absolutely hilarious, "so bad its good" in the best way. if youve ever watched those Warrior Cats animations kids used to put on youtube its almost exactly like that. has someone narrating everything, and theyve obviously never read the script before the recording

  I feel like this could have been a really excellent family film. The attempts at dark themes don't land for me and feel kind of weak/confused, whilst the general idea of filming a bedtime story complete with real-time alterations from the kid is really charming.

  Would easily be one of my favourite cartoons of the 1910s if it were just the first half. I particularly love the part were the dog fades out of existence on command. The second half ruins it completely by basically just repeating the first half but with a blackface maid character.
