    The Blackcoat's Daughter

Gist: A fairly solid psychological horror movie

About 30 minutes into this movie, I thought I should look up who the director is. When I realized it was the same director of I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House, I almost slapped my forehead. I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House is one of the most boring and in many ways, worst movies I have seen in the past 2-3 years.

Midsommar is a follow up from director Ari Aster and is an excellent second movie. Is it as good or disturbing as Herediary? No. Is it…

I know, I've never seen this movie. Have you? It's an absolute classic and it is just one of those movies that fell through the gaps for me. I hadn't seen it and never even stumbled upon it on tv growing up.

It is about a man(John Wayne) who takes his nephew out to find his niece, who has been kidnapped by Indians. This is all in the mid 1800's. Wayne's character hates Indians with a passion and it is…
