You know I had to catch Godzilla Minus One again before it leaves the big screen. Fuck me, what an absolute and awesome triumph of a picture that honestly hit even harder on the rewatch. My ass teared up repeatedly this time. I could just watch the continuing adventures of Cap, Doc and Kid forever.
I have so many more Godzilla films to catch up on from Japan and the US, with the sloppy-as-fuck looking Kong x Godzilla to look forward to next year. Oh yeah, I’m a Godzilla girl living in a Godzilla world.

I definitely feel that a lot more of my appreciation for The Passenger came from going in pretty much blind, but man, does this film grab you and not let go from that ridiculously explosive opening sequence at Burgers, Burgers, Burgers. My anxiety that built up during the course of the film matched only by Randy’s own anxiety.

Holy shit. Blow Out is a fucking wild ride and a half. A tragic and tense noir dripping with style. That permeating sense of paranoia and conspiracy. An 80s film with a 70s flair.
Jack, Sally and ‘the Liberty Bell Killer’. There’s no fault in any of the acting across the film. The amount of nuance and character given to Jack by John Travolta astounded me. Just absolutely perfectly played.…

Thanksgiving; or the story of how I was the only person laughing in my damn theater.
For real though, Thanksgiving was just so much damn fun! Eli Roth delivers a super solid holiday horror whodunit slasher with some really great gruesome gory kills, gorgeous practicals, decent twists and a fantastic sense of style. Even the cast is entirely solid and entertaining. It’s exactly what I could’ve asked for.
