Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One 2023
Really impressive how the movie manages to not drag on at all despite it's really long running time and being the first part of a duology. Nothing feels tacked on or stretched out ... despite maybe the action setpieces, which we are all here for in the first place.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018
Rewatched it before watching the sequel a second time. A fantastic movie but I still stand by the opinion that the sequel is even better.
This one has a fairly classic super hero origin structure and feels somewhat predictable as a result. But man, I forgot how fucking funny it also is. And the finale starting when Miles makes his own suit is all around amazing.

Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives 2010
Incredibly slow pacing, simplistic cinematography, bored actors and probably contains tons of metaphors about reincarnation that all flew over my head.
I won't promise that I'm not too stupid for this one, but man, was I bored.
