It's better to watch it with another Mario Bros or Nintendo fan.
A great use of music arrangements from various Mario related franchises.
It's one of those films that's just so ordinary but it's funny, relaxed and definately a little bit goofy. Some parts are very meta and play out a little bit like a stage play. The film dives into the thoughts feelings and imagination of the main characters.
Beautiful lighting in some of the scenes and lovely interiors.
It's a nice film to relax to and I would be happy to watch it again. With it being British it leans into British humour styles.
It reminds me of "The Stuff" but with a moral message tailored towards today's retail industry and clothing brands. It's a good message though.
I would watch it again as something to out on in the background. It's meant to be a silly movie so don't take it too seriously.
Well done to the puppeteer! The best thing was the performance of the pants.
