    A mixed experience here.

    On one hand, I have a soft spot for these types of hunter-vs-hunted flicks. On the other hand, in the hands of a lesser director you don’t truly get your moneys worth… 

    This is very much an “almost” film. But it’s also a “just enough” film. It gives me just barely enough of what I hunger for and then escapes out in the bushes once again.

    I haven’t seen this in ages but I remember watching it many times when I was younger… 

    Somehow I forgot a lot about it. But what I was missing in thought came back in feel. What a lovely rewatch this was. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but as it went on it completely took me in. That 80s feel, the underdog story, the music. I love it all. 

    And mr. Miyagi gotta be one of the best…
