    Some unapologetic jump scares are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to horror in A Quiet Place. The real horror comes when a monster is sharing the same air as our family members and a single noise could mark their bloody demise.     It's what it says it is on the tin; a big concept R rated comedy.

    I haven't gelled with Will Ferrell for a while now and this film hasn't turned me around on that. He plays too big to be emotionally invested in not that there's much emotion in this movie in the first place, even though the inciting incident has their teenage daughter unable to go to college because they can't afford it.
