Brother, going into this having seen the trailer only one time a few months ago, only knowing that there was something to do with an Airbnb, this was nuts to the highest degree… AND, the fact that it was made by Zach from the Whitest Kids U Know was even more nuts.

Nice that back to back years around Halloween-time, we just so happen to get some batshit, insane horror movies out of nowhere with Malignant last year and Barbarian this time around.

I’ve been on the Mia Goth train since the one-two-punch of High Life & Emma, but I’m now driving the train after X and Pearl

The XXXverse is alive and thriving with Mia & Ti West.

    Class Action Park

Nothing groundbreaking here, especially with how well Defunctland covered Action Park in the past, but its still a super interesting look at a place that had zero business ever existing, despite being this seemingly perfect example of what youth used to look like versus what it looks like nowadays in 2020. Also, despite being a New Jersey Nat I’ve having no direct connection to the park, I can confirm that about ten minutes into this I got a call from my dad who did confirm that he did visit Action Park in its heyday, so yea, fun stuff!

Zoey Deutch & Dylan O’Brien give the performances of their lives here. So much second hand embarrassment, but pairing this with movies like X, Nope, and Bo Burnham’s Inside feels like we’re getting some really great takes on social media/going viral/fame/celebrity/and all that jazz.

I also really appreciated the ending, so shoutout for them sticking the landing.
