It's ok. Not horrible, but not great. It didn't help that Daniel Kaluuya had the same flat standing-in-line-at-the-bank facial expression whether he's watching his father die or watching a giant hot air balloon alien monster flying around eating things. One watch is plenty.
It's better than the Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, but it's not even close to being as good as Clerks or Clerks 2. Most of its humor is callbacks to previous Askewniverse movies and in seeing actors from the first Clerks movie return in cameo roles. I enjoyed it because I enjoyed Kevin Smith's earlier films, but I can't imagine that anyone who isn't well versed in the Askewniverse will get too much out of the experience.
