Still tense as hell, but it’s flaws are more present to me but I can look past them, cause I really enjoy it! Nice emotional beats too!
Olivia Cooke and Anya Taylor-Joy together in a film. I mean, what’s not to like? Two of the finest young actresses working today, and they’re phenomenal in this!
The pacing and structure is unconventional, yet sharp and tightly wound. It plays like a Yorgos Lanthimos movie and gets increasingly more uncomfortable (especially with its use of long takes) but enjoyable as it goes along. It’s pretty much perfect.
