How did I only find out today that one of my favourite films (You've Got Mail) is a remake of a 1940 Lubitsch film?
I love this story, and I love Lubitsch's Hollywood comedies, so there was no way I wouldn't love this and it didn't disappoint!
It's kind of a strange, but enjoyable experience "re-seeing" some favourite moments (the café blind date scene!!!), but from the original in 1940.
Also, I think Meg Ryan did such a good job…
