Maximum Overdrive 1986
First time I've sat down and watched the entire movie. For its era and type of story (not taking it too seriously), I thought it was entertaining. The AC/DC soundtrack certainly helped too. Probably one I'll revisit around Halloween season but not every year.

Top Gun: Maverick 2022
Definitely worth the wait. Touches all the feels of the original while delivering a story that fits. Great job by the supporting cast, the young guns and the veterans. Was surprised at the bits of humor at some of the more serious moments. Might have been a little over the top but it's not the dialog or even the story that we came to see... it's the aerial footage and effects which were amazing. So well orchestrated. Meant for the big screen and even more incredible in IMAX.

First Blood 1982
Great story. Great acting by Stallone, Denehy, and Crenna. Love the suspense and chase scenes among the mountains and forests. Just a great film overall.
