    Occupants

Occupants take on the found footage by setting up the camera's around the house where the couple start out documenting their Vegan diet until weird video clips appear of their "alternate selves" in the viewing of the weekly footage, then the story becomes about this and discovering more of this. Which essentially just shows them sitting and watching their alternative selves and occasionally things will happen.

I thought the core concept was good and when done well can be brilliant,…

    A Dark Song

    ★★★½

Sophia stricken with anger & grief from the unsolved murder of her son hires Joseph to help perform Black Magic to exact revenge. A slow paced horror flick that has you asking is Joe legit or fake.

Showing the gruelling rituals that Sophia undertook, showed just how far she would go to get her own justice on her son's killers, However, in essence, this film is asking how far will we go to learn from our grief?

Overall I would say A Dark Song is defiantly worth a watching and I very much enjoyed it.

Jack Lemmon brilliant... Humorous, fun and just a good watch. The theme was good for the 60s wouldn't hold up with today's feminists though.

    Get Out

    ★★★★★

Get Out has to be my favourite horror/thriller of 2017, the writing and directing by Jordan Peele was brilliant, I believe he truly knows the genre and I found it unexpected of him to create such an outstanding movie in horror considering his background in comedy. The cast I found to be very suited to their roles and the acting was great. At times I found it funny the TSA guy was a great comic relief and wasn't overbearing with the comedy and the focus was well balanced.
