  I had to rewatch the ending of this after hearing that the ‘Extended Cut’ on the disc is in fact the director’s original cut pre-censorship.

  Unbelievable that they butchered the ending of the theatrical version to such a gross extent - it cripples the whole ethos of the film! 

  I align with the school that labels this film the ‘best’ of the original series.
