I loved it and can watch it again 1,000 times. Talks about depression the best most honest way possible. I recommend it for couples. Not too cheesy at all, inspiring, motivational. Makes you cry but in a good way.
This might be a bit biased since I loved other movies Del Toro worked on including Pan's Labyrinth, El Orphanato (producer), Hellboy, and Pacific Rim. I was really looking forward to watching this with my grandma. She was excited since it was from a Mexican director.
Anyways, the movie reminded me a bit of Amelie. The colors, the music, the amount of dialogue etc. I loved it right away because of that.
