Really hoped to love this one. Not compelling enough to justify being that opaque. Ambiguity as needless affectation. The characters were treated with cynical dismissiveness such that the landing didn’t surprise or land at all.
I was enjoying it, because it seemed to be leading to having a point, like a Twilight Zone episode (which is directly and indirectly referenced), until it turned out to be nothing, meaning nothing, and gaining insight into nothing.
