    Once again Ti West leans into the style he is aiming for with pleasurable homages that don’t feel kitschy. The Wizard of Oz shots and references are delightfully weird. The sprawling score, once again helmed by Tyler Bates with a different collaborator (Tim Williams) stands out again even if it stands in line with the reference material West is aiming for. The Golden Age Hollywood titles immerse you into the setting quickly, and I am continually shocked that New Zealand can take place…

    Why have anybody else tell us about Bowie other than himself. Even hearing his own admitted contradictions through age and experience helped him humanize himself.

    The sound design was well mixed in conjunction with the in-your-face editing style. Lots of reuse of clips, which surprised me, but it did help keep it aesthetically uniform. Definitely a great IMAX viewing, rather than watching it on the couch.
