You don't watch this movie for the Care Bears. You watch this movie to see the blossoming romance between Christy, a girl who wishes she was Camp Champ, and Dark Heart, an ancient shape-shifting evil who likes to take the form of a red-haired boy in a track suit.
Also that scene where Dark Heart tries to invade Care-A-Lot by pretending to be a mechanic for the Care-O-Meter is a work of cinematic art.
