Felt good to watch a Nolan film after so long, especially when it's been a while since I've been so genuinely excited to watch something.

Disturbingly grotesque and yet conclusively beautiful because of the underlying theme, He Took His Skin Off for Me is an undeniably praiseworthy attempt to comment on our constant habit of changing ourselves and becoming something else, for the promise of love and acceptance. A cleverly crafted short film that manages to impart its message in an interesting, unique way by narrating the story of a man who took his skin off to please his girlfriend. Compelling.
