the story seems a little bit off sometimes, but hey, it’s about dying and it’s sad, and it’s joyfull and unpretentious (at least mostly)

  • Juanita

    dorky mum movie

    A Wrinkle in Time

    it’s not objectivly bad
but definitely too pretentious, biased and self unaware for my taste

So there’s a new genre of rom-coms “fat blondes get hit in head and live a fantasy until they realize that they need to accept themselves and to love themselves”...

I like the satire but there could’ve been done much more and not only based on the concept of being in a “rom-com-verse”. Enjoyed musical numbers, but sometimes the movie becomes like that joke running too long.

Also... why Rebel and Adam always have to play that “not attractive enough to get attractive one to love them so they have to find other not attractive enough to love them” characters? Sad.

I like scenes with polish gay talking to his roommate. Those two different worlds and mentalities collide and there’s nothing but sad reflection that you can be alienated gay and that’s ok but coming from polish background you’ve got a bigger amount of complexes and frustrations...

Also is this documentary pro shallow gayness or sympathizes with poor, sad homosexual fate in the end?

if your kid claims that the stuff they learn at school is pointless show them this documentary and tell them that school is to make sure people will not believe this kind of lunatic fantasies

that said I’m sick of people who watched this only to make fun of and to mock people and I sincerely hate the fact that some of them have the nerve to make fun and mock after watching this documentary

    as it was said in…

there was potential but who cares

    27: Gone Too Soon

very minimalistic, i’d read an article on wikipedia and it wouldn’t last so long

  • Margarita with a Straw

    Margarita with a Straw

It was very easy to make this film look pretentious, sloppy and cheap.

But it doesn’t and as I was surprised, I was also amazed how self-awere it is. Simple queer story with unconventional characters which as much ‘disabled’ they are definitely not dehumanized.

There’s no pity, there’s no going easy on anybody. Characters are as they are and I love how it leads to the final message.

    not all whites

you wish, and that ugly fantasy of a black man not fitting the stereotype and moment later giving up to the stereotype... not funny, not elegant

movie made by a guy who made chloë moretz bleed... you know, from the movie where hugh jackman has ball sack on his throat

    whata surprise
