  Upon revisiting this on a whim tonight, I've decided to re-watch the entire Alien franchise over the next week or so. Here's your warning: influx of Alien reviews incoming.

  Space Jam: A New Legacy 2021

  It's not good, but it's not insultingly bad either. The human characters are cringe-inducing, as well as most of the humor that revolves around them (at least half the run-time, I'd say). However, there's some solid old-school Looney Tune's mania to be had in-between the unending stream of intellectual property gags, and when the movie IS focused on Bugs, Daffy, Lola, and the like, it's pretty good. Your ability to stay interested will depend on your affinity for the classic characters, and I for one love the 'toons. Thus, for me this was worth the price of admission... if not much else.

  My local theater recently started playing classics during the pandemic with required masks and social distancing. Until this past weekend they hadn't played anything I was dying to see on the big screen, but I simply couldn't pass up a chance to see Jaws. (The irony of going out in spite of the recommendations of experts to see JAWS is not lost on me, but hey! I wore my mask and there were only like three people there).
