Zero regrets about driving 400km to see this in 70mm. Got a little introduction about the history of 70mm film and some of its merits before the start. Very cool experience, including the overture and intermission to set the mood (didn't realize until now that intermissions aren't standard in the US, they are here).
This film obviously looked great, obviously has stellar dialogue and obviously has awesome performances. Scene after scene of trademark Tarantino suspense building until an explosion of spectacular violence breaks out, just to start building up to another.
Pretty much loved everything about it.
