Johann Rucker’s review published on Letterboxd:
Watched in 3D, HFR 60 FPS.
Dynamite, from top to bottom. More importantly, not as dumb as it lets on. I'll watch it again later this week and write more down, but Ang Lee really makes a case for his Zemeckis-era with GEMINI MAN, and makes his previous venture into this techno terra-incognita (BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK) look better as a result. Really effective action sequences, surprisingly compelling character work, and Smith's best acting this side of FOCUS.
It's also really queer?? Like, textually, not tip-toeing around it, bonafide queer coding in a big studio action film.
