Johann Rucker’s review published on Letterboxd:
SUNDANCE 2020, film no. 3
I'm dumb. This movie is dumb.
A match made in heaven, imo. Sorta amounts to nothing, fumbles a very intelligent/clever premise, but still manages to get some simple macro-concepts across: capitalism is built on the backs of women, the information age has poisoned our minds, and the benefactor wants nothing more than to dispose of as many of us as possible. Abbott is glorious, Riseborough is underutilized, and it all looks so C O O L.
I'm allowed one bad take per Sundance.
