    Some looked at the original "Jacob's Ladder" and went "yeah but what if it wasn't interesting or engaging?" And if that was the goal it is a big ole mission accomplished.

    Bosworth is a decent lead and Rosie is pretty likable.

    The supporting cast is fantastic and we need more of them. Tobo? Gary Cole? Nathan Lane? Give me the movie where they open a bed and breakfast.

    This made me stupidly happy. It retained everything from the originals that made them special most importantly that unabashed positivity.

    Billie and Thea were most excellent, especially Brigette Lundy-Paine who fully embodied the daughter of Ted, they were beyond perfect and committed and I love them for it.

    My only really complaint is that it ends super abruptly and it'd be nice to have a family moment at the end. The only other thing is that it feels very compressed…
