I wanted to love this, I really did, but it felt overly long by about twenty minutes and that doesn't bode well when it has no real resolution. I think this would've been better as a Netflix original series so that it could've been more fleshed out over twelve or thirteen hours instead of trying to wrap it up in two.
Romantic comedy? Check.
Adam Devine? Check.
Alexandra Daddario? Check.
It's extremely funny, great performances all around, does time travel well, etc., etc. It's like a perfect storm of a bunch of shit I love coming together to make a really good film. It obviously has that Netflix Original Movie vibe, but I'm kinda surprised they didn't throw more money at it and give it a theatrical run; I honestly wouldn't have been disappointed had I seen this in theaters.
